Abstract. This article gives an overview of capacity development (CD) elements for fast-growing geospatial technologies and their applications (GSTA). While the Earth observation data spatial analytics software tools are getting more open accessible, lack skilled workforce institutional capacities limiting effective applications. A systematic process is essential in realising required at individual levels, maintaining upgrading technological infrastructures, updating strengthening human resources sustainable supply workforce. discusses on different user sectors competencies that expected to meet demands. It also important take stock modes CD along with a variety methods select appropriate suitable users’ groups efficient knowledge transfer. In addition, this describes briefly two building curriculum design courses based body objectives. The importance coordinated effort programs stressed promoting GSTA national international flagship such as 2030 global agenda. issue gender diversity points out ways increase women participation programs.
